If your GP decides that you need hospital treatment, you will be given some options to decide where you would like to go. Your GP will provide you with information on a range of hospitals so that you can make a choice. Leaflets are available from the Reception area. Further information is also available on the NHS website, www.nhs.uk.

Within a few days of seeing your GP, you will receive a confirmatory letter and explanatory booklet. You then telephone the hospital of your choice to arrange an appointment. The telephone number and all other information you will need to make the appointment is contained within this letter.
