As from the 1st July 2009, prescriptions will be held at reception for collection for 28 days only.
As from the 1st April 2008, prescription charges are now £7.10 per item or appliance.

Your doctor recommends that you are protected against influenza and don’t worry because you CANNOT catch flu from the vaccine.
Appointment -
When you request an appointment you will be asked the nature of the call and whether a nurse could help. If a nurse can, you will be offered the earliest appointment with one of our Nurse Practitioners. If you specify that you would like to see a Doctor, the next available appointment will be offered
Appointment -
Please remember to cancel your appointment if you are unable to use it. A telephone line has been introduced to provide a 24 hour answering service for cancelling appointments. The number is 01635 871117 , please leave a message or contact the surgery during opening hours.
Receptionist -
Please be polite to the Receptionist, they are there to help you and relay your needs to the Doctors as effectively as possible.
Sample Box
Please do NOT put samples through the letterbox, or hand them over at the reception desk. There is a Sample box located inside the Thatcham Medical Practice. Ask reception, and they will point out where it is.
