What We’ve Done…

  • Increased the number of same-day urgent face-to-face appointments by 25%
  • Added extra appointments on our busiest days
  • Made a wider range of clinicians available through Anima
  • Promoted Pharmacy First and other local services when appropriate
  • Improved access for our red patients, who have more complex or urgent needs
  • Reduced incoming phone calls by 40% compared to 2024, as more patients now use Anima to get through more easily
  • Increased signposting to Pharmacy First, Minor Injury Units and dental services, helping us keep more GP appointments available for those who need them most
