Patient Reference Group (PRG)
Thatcham Medical Practice is setting up a ‘Virtual’ Patient Reference Group (PRG) to run alongside the main PPG (Patient Participation Group). We plan to use this community to consult with patients on a regular basis via email.
The purpose of the Patient Reference Group is to ensure that patients are involved in decisions about the range and quality of services provided and, over time, commissioned by the practice. In other words, patients are given a say in the way services are delivered to best meet their needs and the needs of the local community.
Thatcham Medical Practice aims to promote the proactive engagement of patients through the use of effective Patient Reference Groups (PRGs) and to seek views from practice patients through the use of a local practice survey and other available methods. The outcomes of the engagement and the views of patients will be published on our practice website.
If you would like to be involved in the virtual PRG, complete the registration form, or by sending an email to signup@thatchammedicalpractice.co.uk.
